1] How long it takes to drive to Cedar Key from Tallahassee?
It's been years since I've driven there from here as most of my visiting
there was done growing up in High Springs, we even canoed there once. My atlas
software shows it to be 152mi at 3:40 on the time, going down 98 to SR24
2] Any creeks in the Cedar Key area worth kayaking?
The whole group of islands is reputed to have more than 200 islands in it,
so there are a lot of interesting places to paddle. When we paddled down, we
camped on Sand Key, at app N29° 8.445' W83° 1.325'
Another thing y'all may be interested in is the Cedar Key Small Boat Meet on
May 7th. You can find more information and pictures (inc a lot of GREAT Cedar
Key and small boat pics) at _http://members.ij.net/wctss/wctss/cedar.htm_

Enjoy the trip. I have a lot of good memories from there. Don't forget the
museum; a bicycle is another good thing to take.
